Grief doesn't follow a timeline, and there is no single right way to experience loss. Some days, you may feel like yourself. Other days, getting through the day may feel like an accomplishment. You might feel sadness, anger, guilt, confusion, relief, or emotions you can't quite put into words.
Whatever grief looks like for you, you deserve support without judgment or expectations about how you should be healing.
Lime Counseling is offering a Grief Support Group for adults ages 19 and older who want a supportive space to navigate loss, connect with others, and explore ways to move forward while honoring their own experiences.
This group may be a good fit if you:
Feel alone or misunderstood in your grief.
Are struggling with the loss of someone important to you.
Find that grief is affecting your relationships, routines, or emotional well-being.
Feel pressure to be "over it" or to return to normal.
Want to connect with others who understand that loss can be complicated.
Are looking for healthy ways to cope with difficult emotions and navigate life after loss.
You don't need to know exactly what you need from support to reach out. Sometimes, having a space where you don't have to explain everything is a meaningful place to start.
Our intention is to provide a compassionate, supportive environment where participants can explore their experiences of grief without pressure to share more than they feel comfortable sharing.
Group participation may offer opportunities to:
Feel less isolated in your experience.
Learn about the many ways grief can affect emotions, thoughts, and daily life.
Explore coping strategies for difficult days, anniversaries, and unexpected reminders of loss.
Practice self-compassion and release unrealistic expectations about healing.
Connect with others who understand the challenges of navigating loss.
There is no requirement to have the right words, share every detail, or be at a particular stage of grief. You can participate at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
